Bottleworks District Project Rollout
Thu, Jun. 7th - 3:00 pm
Join ISA for a one of a kind project rollout of the Bottleworks District with The Hagerman Group. Project Executive, Matthew Schmitz, LEED AP, will be presenting along with other construction team members on this unique project to discuss the future of the Bottleworks District, as well as opportunities to become involved in the project.
From its founding in 1920, the Indianapolis Coca-Cola bottling plant – both for beauty of design and efficiency of equipment – was one of the showplaces of American industry. Epitomizing enterprise & success, from horse-drawn delivery to over 70 Coca-Cola trucks, the plant was said to be the largest bottling plant in the world, with 260 employees producing 2,352,000 bottles of Coca-Cola per week. In 2017 Hendricks Commercial Properties began re-purposing the site into a center for commerce, history and arts.
The Future of the Bottleworks District will bring a perfect fusion of past and present encompassing 12 acres of robust arts, culture, industrial architecture, entertainment, eateries, residences, shopping, and one-of-a-kind progressive office space. The plans include:
- A 30,000 plus square foot community-focused food and market hall
- Entertainment including, bars, restaurants, a unique movie theater and fitness boutiques
- A 146-Key boutique hotel operated by West Elm
- 143,000 square feet of retail space
- 227 new residential units
- 175,729 square feet of office space
