GC of the Year Awards
Each year, the CNEY Bruncheon hosts the GC of the Year awards celebration, recognizing GCs that exemplify leadership in ethics, contracts, speed of pay and support for subcontractors. Nominated companies will submit a total of 3 projects primarily completed in the year of the awards. In addition, they will identify up to 8 subcontractor contacts, per project, to provide feedback for their submitted projects.
GC of the Year (Over $100 Million/Under $100 Million)
GC of the Year is the highest honor a General Contractor company can receive from ISA. This award is given based on overall feedback from their subcontractor partners on all 3 project submitted for consideration on the following project aspects:
- Contract Terms
- Ethics
- Field Staff Strength
- Payment History
- Project Management
- Project Scheduling
- Safety
This is combined with general feedback from ISA subcontractor members to determine the overall winner. One company is awarded per year in the categories of Over $100 Million in Annual Revenue and Under $100 Million of Annual Revenue.
In addition to a trophy commemorating their win, the companies will take custody of the crystal GC of the Year cup. Their name plate will be added to the base of the cup and the companies may hold on to their corresponding cup until the following year awards ceremony.
Project of the Year ($10 Million or more/$10 Million or less)
Project of the Year is selected based on the total feedback from subcontractor partners who have worked on the project. Feedback is given based on the following project aspects:
- Contract Terms
- Ethics
- Field Staff Strength
- Payment History
- Project Management
- Project Scheduling
- Safety
Up to one project worth $10 Million or more and one project worth $10 Million or less will be awarded each year.
Excellence in Ethics
ISA is proud to award Excellence in Ethics each year to a general contractor company that is selected based on their total scores in all submitted projects in the Ethics category. This is combine with the Ethics feedback given by ISA subcontractor members for an overall total score.
One company is awarded each year.
Subcontractor’s Choice
The Subcontractor’s Choice is awarded to a general contractor company based on the overall feedback from just their subcontractor partners who give feedback on the projects submitted for consideration.
One company is awarded each year.
