The LDA is no longer accepting applications for the 2020-2021 class.

Program Purpose
To create a membership service recognized by the Indiana construction industry that provides ISA member companies the opportunity to engage individuals that exhibit the potential to someday become executive leadership within their organization. The program will provide real world knowledge for these individuals to grow towards becoming executive leadership.

When and What Will I Hear from ISA?
Upon receiving all application materials and supporting documents before or on the deadline, a selection committee will meet to decide on placement for the 25 spots available (numbers may vary based on interest level). All applicants will receive either an email stating he/she has been accepted or not accepted. The email will provide further direction for those that are accepted.


Cost to Submit
$150 non-refundable submission fee (applied toward your fee if the application is accepted)

Fee to Attend Academy
$3000 per attendee

Eligibility Requirements

  • Recommended and supported by employer
    • Applicants should have the endorsement of a senior-level person in their company who is also willing to debrief with the attendee after each session. The application is a two-part process with one portion being completed by the applicant and the other being completed by the endorser.
  • Employed in a construction related field or service
  • On track in your organization to become executive level leadership
  • Exhibits competency and has the authority to apply learning to a company immediately
  • Must be employed by a company that is current with ISA membership dues
  • Each individual must complete all courses in order to receive full completion recognition. If a course is missed, the individual would be required to make that course up once it was available in another course cycle.
    • Program meeting dates include:
      • December 11 – Icebreaker/Meet-and-Greet Event
      • Class meetings will take place monthly on the second Wednesday of the month from 8:00-12:00 beginning in January 2020 and go through June 2021. The class will take a short survey to decide whether March or April will be skipped. The session in December 2020 will be a voluntary special session.
