Education Committee
The Education Committee works to build stronger relationships in the construction industry with our industry partners from a subcontractor’s point of view. The committee partners and interacts with different sectors of the industry including design professionals, owners, general contractors, construction managers, material suppliers and industry service providers. By developing enhanced relationships with these different sectors and developing best practices with each sector, the committee fosters a better working environment in the central Indiana construction industry.
The Education Committee’s main focus is Education and Networking. The committee achieves this by hosting 2-3 large education-focused event per year, as well as 4 smaller, focused-topic Thirst for Knowledge events per year. The committee develops new creative ideas for events that are out of the “normal scope” ISA members have been used to over the course of ISA’s history. The EC is also working to provide more educational opportunities that help not only large contractors but also aid in development for emerging businesses.
