Special Events Committee
This committee is responsible for the planning and execution of the Construction Networking Event of the Year, Annual Golf Outing, Annual Clay Shoot, and Annual Membership Reception.
About the Special Events Committee
The SEC’s main focus are 4 major events throughout the year, CNEY, with the presentation of GC of the Year, the ISA Golf Outing, the Annual Clay Shoot, and the ISA Membership Reception.
Construction Networking Event of the Year (CNEY)
The SEC is responsible for establishing a holistic plan that ties together all aspects of the daylong event. This includes a sponsorship plan, identifying presenters, and refreshing the GC of the Year event. Additionally, they are responsible for establishing a budget that produces a 10% net profit at a minimum and increasing booth sales by 10% per year. The SEC is also responsible for marketing opportunities for the event throughout Indiana.
GC of the Year
The SEC evaluates and carries out voting during the most opportune time within the ISA master schedule. They continually seek out ways to simplify the online ballots to make it easier for the voting process (e.g. mobile accessibility and campaign).
ISA Golf Outing and Annual Clay Shoot
The SEC is responsible for continuing to obtain maximum attendance for these outings. In addition, they establish budgets that are reasonable but maximize net profit from these events.
ISA Membership Reception
The SEC seeks out a unique venue for this celebratory event, ensuring that the space is conducive to a presentation as well as networking. Additionally, they coordinate with the board to include pertinent items into the presentation portion of the program
